I reached out to Dale Woodbridge Brown after seeing him perform in ‘Briefs Dirty Laundry’ at the Seymour Centre for World Pride. As is normally always the case, we grabbed a coffee and started talking about a photo shoot. Dale is a renowned cabaret comedian, and most of his recent photo shoots had him playing the clown.
I was expecting we’d do something similar but instead we came up with a softer approach, with the chance to see Dale lounging at home.
I love playing with window light. It’s a standard for portrait photographers and I love seeing the shade form across the face.
Dale was surprisingly relaxed. He has calm eyes.
